A Brief Introduction

A snippet about Brian Maya

Its always difficult to describe what I do because I’m involved in so many different things. From graphic design, to programming, to marketing and blogging I have a tendency to dive head first into the next “big thing”. I guess you can say I enjoy learning and applying what I’ve learned to help others.

As a designer, I’ve spent years assisting small business owners build successful brands that speak to their audience. I’ve contributed to many aspects of these businesses including web development, brand identity, and social media marketing. My experience at a local advertising agency has equipped me with the skills necessary to unify design with business.

Working With Me

A Match Made In Heaven.

Looking to join forces? I’d be happy to help, but let’s go over a few things.

Love At First Pixel?

You finding the perfect designer is just as important to me as finding my next client. Doing my job successfully is highly dependent on whether we are compatible with one another. Here are a few things I’m looking for in my next client:

DESIGN DRIVEN

The ideal client has (or seeks) a design-first approach to their business. Design is a powerful asset in a world inundated with white noise. In order for you to stand out, your business can’t just be amazing, but you have to want to look the part as well.

HONESTY

Sugar-coating important business decisions isn’t going to help anyone. I’m going to be completely honest with you and I expect the same in return. I promise to do so with the highest level of respect and decency.

TRANSPARENCY

Being part of your team means I need to understand your business just as well as you do, if not better. I will make every effort to understand your business goals and passionately pursue them. While you may think this only involves being transparent with me, you are partially right. I also expect business owners to be transparent with their audiences. Businesses are businesses, but they should never be at the expense of your customer.

FUN

I wouldn’t be a designer if I didn’t love what I do. I want to work with like-minded individuals who are just as passionate about their business as I am about design. That means having fun is just part of the job.

Credentials

The proof is in the pudding.

Now that you’ve learned a little bit about how I work, here are some credentials to back it up.
